Some Common Questions
Q.
Where do your passwords come from?
A.
All passwords in the database were either collected by the WebCrawler, witch scours the web
24 hours a day 7 days a week, or has been shared by their original owner and thus placed in
the public domain.
Q.
Does your system compromise any website?
A.
UndiscoveredPwds.com will never connect to any secure computer. It is merely a database
of data already in the public domain.
Q.
What can I do if I find my website on your database?
A.
Webmasters can use this form to contact the site
Q.
Why do some passwords not have an age?
A.
When the database was originally being compiled it was impossible to know when the passwords
were first posted. Passwords without an age are very very old.
Q.
Why does a password found a few minutes ago not work?
A.
It may be that the site auto detects multiple logins and disabled the password straight away.
Another possibility is that the password is so old it was not on the database when the
webcrawler found it. The system will assume it is a new password.
